Extra Magic Hours

Avoid the crowds and long lines, board some of our more popular attractions quicker, and experience more time in the Parks during special extended Theme Park hours — available to you as a Guest of a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel.

Each day, one of the Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing so Disney Resort Guests can enjoy access to select attractions — during the cooler parts of the day — while experiencing all the magic at an easy, more comfortable pace. Even better, Disney Water Parks offer Extra Magic Hours every morning!

Here's how it works:

1. Upon checking in at your Disney Resort hotel, you will receive a schedule indicating which Theme Parks will be offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit each day during your stay.
2. To enjoy morning Extra Magic Hours, simply arrive up to an hour before the designated Park is scheduled to open and show your valid Theme Park ticket and Resort ID. Magically, you will be admitted before non-Resort Guests.
3. To take advantage of evening Extra Magic Hours, simply locate a designated Cast Member before the Park is scheduled to close and show your valid Theme Park ticket and Resort ID. You will receive a special wristband that will allow you to stay and play in the Park for an additional three hours.
4. For even more flexibility and freedom, add the Park Hopper® Option to your Magic Your Way base ticket, and visit more than one Theme Park per day, in addition to the Park offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit.

Here's how it works:

1. Stop by one of the many convenient pick-up points throughout Walt Disney World® Resort and, usually within minutes, your ride will arrive ready to transport you throughout the Resort.
2. Enjoy travel within Walt Disney World® Resort from one hour prior to Theme Park opening up to one hour after Park closing. And for our late-night Downtown Disney® Guests, motor coaches operate until three in the morning.
3. Enjoy the variety! The various pick-up points throughout Walt Disney World® Resort offer different modes of transportation — motor coach, monorail and water launch — giving you and your family the opportunity to see the Resort in a unique way.
